Seabed mines result of this development is the AL Dislitbang underwater weapon capable and can be used as a means of defense against the entry of foreign vessels entering Indonesian territory.

In contrast to surface mines floating in the sea, seabed mines laid between 30-60 meters below the sea surface. These mines will work when detecting objects that create vibrations (frequency), both of spin propeller, engine and generator also surface ships and submarines.
